Fedora Hats...

Historically, the word "Fedora" comes from the title of Victorien Sardou's play which was performed at 1882. The main character of the play-Princes Fedora- wore a hat which was very similar to fedora hat.
Fedora hats became more popular at the beginning of 20th century, because of its good usage such as protection and pliableness. People usually think hats with detectives or gangsters, not thinks its fashion, protection or other parts. Maybe, it is because of the movies :) Because, characters in the movies around 1940s are also wore these hats. Nevertheless, fedora gained very important development. Its popularity provided it lots of new styles and colours. Especially, men in America quite adopted these hats and didn't go out without their hats. Characters in the movies around 1940s are also wore these hats.
Unfortunately, fedora started to lose its importance at the beginning of the 1960s. It was seen like an unnecessary part after some changes at clothes, but in the 1880's Michael Jackson restored them by using in his style.
In these days, lots of women also prefer these hats for fashion. If you want to create a good style, you should also consider them ;)
